A film director is the person who directs the making of a film. They visualise the script onto camera and they guide actors and the film crew to create their visions for the film.
Responsibilities Within The Production Process:
A director's responsibilities include reading the script and thinking of a way to translate the script into a film with their own vision of the script and how this will be done. They also help casting agents fine the right actors and the producer to find and gain the budget for the film. They also work with the film editors in the pots-production of the film to create the film material into a "director's cut" and at times they get the final say on what edit of the film is then released. They also can take on additional roles in the production like producer, writer, editor and sometimes have a small acting part in the film.
Screenwriter:

Screenwriters develop scripts based on their own visions and ideas or develop from already existing ideas. They are required to describe the story in great detail such as the moods and emotions of the characters when writing scripts.
Responsibilities Within The Production Process:
After writing a detailed script of their ideas, screenwriters would then produce a shooting script which describes the camera, lighting and shot movement and instructions. They also take notes of the ideas the directors and producers may have and could be asked to rewrite their scripts or make different versions of the scripts they are working on to generate more ideas. They also can take on other roles in the production such as director, producer and editor.

A producer is someone who oversees the whole production of the film. They are the people who plan and coordinate different parts of film production.
Responsibilities Within The Production Process:
Producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production like choosing the script, coordinating writing, directing and editing as well as arranging financing. They also supervise all stages of filmmaking such as pre-production, production and post-production. They also take charge in hiring a director and other key crew members like cinematographer, product designer and sometimes screenwriter and producers also have to make sure that the film is finished and released on time and within a budget. Producers also have the last word on whether sounds, music or scened need to be changed or cut out and can demand for additional scenes to be filmed if needed.
